“Thousands have lived without love ,but none without water.”

Water is the driving force of nature, the essence of life and the ultimate healer. Without water, there will be no life. Every day, our body experiences loss of fluids through sweating, urinating, breathing, skin evaporation etc. It is necessary to replace those fluid losses by drinking lots and lots of Water (there’s no end, drinking more gives more benefits). Intake of water either plain or through fluids can help replace the essential body nutrients lost due to digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients,  dehydration etc.

1) Weight loss

When it comes to weight loss, water is a good beverage choice. Plus, it is calorie free. Go to your dietician for weight loss tips and he will advise you the same. Choosing water over sugary beverages such as coffee, cola, juice will aid you in burning extra calories each day. Drinking at least eight ounces of chilled water each morning will boost your metabolism by 24%.

2) Make your skin glow

Celebrities claim that drinking gallons of water is their secret to a smooth and supple skin. That might be true. Dehydration is a gateway to too many skin problems. Acne, pores, wrinkles, pimples, lesions, be it any common skin problem, H2O has cure for everything. When the skin is well hydrated, it looks plump and blemish free and the signs of ageing are minimized. So guzzle down as much as you can.

3) Energises muscles

Water has more benefits than any other energy drink because two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen (h2O) is free from any other contamination. Your muscles are dehydrated after your intense workout so you must keep a glass, a bottle, a jug or a gallon handy. Water comprises more than 75% of the muscle tissue. A little dehydration is going to make a big difference.

4) Flushes out toxins

The harmful toxins building up in your body through oxygen and food intake can cause severe problems such as kidney stones and constipation. Water flushes toxins and waste from the body and transports nutrients to where they are needed. Without water the contents of your colon can dry out and get stuck, eventually causing constipation. Water is a natural lubricant that softens stool and promotes evacuation of the bowels. It boosts digestion.

5) Relieves fatigue

60% of your body consists of water and so does the brain. Drinking water helps you think more clearly, plugging the capability to concentrate. Also, if you’re tired, drink lots of water and stay energized. Fatigue is the first sign of dehydration so make sure the level of fluids you provide to your body is comparatively higher than the solid ones.

Drinking at least eight cups of water a day because we will never know the worth of water till the well is dry!
