When you’re alone, you are not spending the amount of energy you spend when you are surrounded by people. You are saving up all the energy you use to talk and do other activities you do with people. You get time to revive, rejuvenate and refresh yourself.
Sitting in solitude, will help you introspect and reflect on your life. Our lives are moving at such a fast speed, that we barely get any time for ourselves to probe deeper into our lives and introspect. Being alone will help you reevaluate your situation and help you take better decisions.

- Take Delight in Your Own Company
Not always do you enjoy doing the things others are doing or dressing up and socializing. Sometimes you just want to put on your most ragged clothes, go out, eat whatever, shop whatever and simply take pleasure in your own company, doing the things you absolutely love doing.
Being alone will get all your work done, with nothing and no one to bother or sidetrack you. Not only will you be more productive, but also will you be yielding innovative, creative works using your fecund imagination and ideas. Because an idol brain is an infinite universe.
- Appreciation Towards Others
You will enjoy the company of people when you take some time off. As annoying as social interactions can get sometimes, it’s always necessary to take a break and spend some alone-time. And when you do this, the next time you’re out with your friends or family, you appreciate their presence more.
You will feel a sense of freedom you have never felt before. Doing any activity alone does not mean you’re a lonely soul, it only means you can buy yourself a cup of coffee on your own. That you get by with yourself just fine. You are free and independent.
You don’t have to do things for others to make them feel better, you won’t have to say sorry for spilling food all over the place, you won’t have to put up with anybody else’s tantrums, you won’t have to see approval from anybody else. When you’re alone, you can absolutely be yourself – act dirty, dance crazy, look ugly, hair messy, pajamas torn!
“I care for myself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustained I am, the more I will respect myself.” –Charlotte Brontë
