Yoghurt Dip, Indian Curd Dip with Spring Onions


Creamy, luscious and tangy, the Yoghurt Dip has a very exciting flavour that combines well with a large variety of snacks ranging fromtikkis to nacho chips !

While the tang of the curds is heightened by the Tabasco sauce, the fresh cream helps to improve the mouth-feel and balance the flavour. Chopped herbs and greens add an exciting flavour, a pleasant crunch and a splash of colour to the dip. Keep this dipchilled till you serve as it will get watery if left outside.

1 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)  1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic
2 tbsp fresh cream
a few drops of tabasco sauce

For Serving

Crackers/ Wafers

Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.

Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled with crackers or wafers.
