10 Things that make healthy and shiny hair

Every woman has a desire to have long, soft healthy and shiny hair, as it has a great role in making one beautiful. It can be possible if you take special care of it. There are many home treatments that can help you.

Before doing any remedies, we have to follow some rules like regularly applying oil to hair. Then for healthy hair growth you should have balanced diet. You need to consume plenty of leafy vegetables, fruits, eggs etc. Always try to avoid using chemicals, because these make hair dry and dull.

There are so many natural things that not only make hair soft and shining, but also prevents from problems like hair fall, dandruff, greying etc. For example, gooseberry helps in better hair growth and shining. Similarly coconut juice, onion juice, wine etc helps make the hair shine.


So, take a look at some home-made tips:

  1. Yogurt:

Yogurt acts as a good conditioner for the hair. Whisk the yogurt and apply directly to the hair. The yogurt should be plain without any adulteration. After applying keep it for 30 minutes and wash in plain water.

  1. Hibiscus:

Hibiscus treatment is one of the oldest and effective method .Take some leaves and flowers of hibiscus and squeeze to extract juice out of it. Apply this juice to the hair for the curing of dandruff and for healthy hair growth.

  1. Orange:

The vitamin C content of orange juice makes hair thick. It helps in producing collagen. The anti oxidant property of orange fights against free radicals which may affect the hair follicles .After applying leave it for some time and then wash the hair.

  1. Grape:

Grape juice contains vitamin B. This helps in producing haemoglobin, which is the oxygen carrier of the blood. This will increase the blood flow and will supply oxygen to the scalp. So include grape juice in your diet.

  1. Gooseberry:

Gooseberry acts magically to strengthen hair. It contains antioxidants and vitamin C. So include gooseberry juice in the diet and apply it on the scalp. It will enhance your hair growth and pigmentation of hair.

  1. Aloe Vera gel:

Aloe Vera gel is a natural antiseptic and contains anti oxidants and other vitamins which help in the growth of healthy hair. It prevents scalp infections and other problems related to scalp. Apply the gel to the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes and then wash. It works as a good moisturiser.

  1. Coconut milk:

It is also a good conditioner. Apply the coconut milk on the hair and leave it for 30 minutes and then wash it off. Coconut milk also enhances the hair growth and makes the hair silky.

  1. Vinegar:

Vinegar is also a good conditionner. After washing hair rinse your hair with diluted vinegar. It adds shine to your hair.

  1. Egg:

Make a mixture of 2-3 egg yolks and 2 spoons of olive oil. Apply this mask to your hair and scalp and leave it for half an hour and then wash it with a good quality of shampoo and then conditioner. It will enhance the beauty of your hair magically. Your hair will be more smooth, silky and shiny.

  1. Potato:

Potato juice has a property to treat alopecia (loss of hair on the head). Apply potato juice on the scalp leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off with shampoo. It acts positively for the growth of thick hair.
