In today’s scenario, there is no doubt that our jobs and careers have an upper hand in our lives. As a result, exercises become the farthest thing from your mind and your lifestyle as well. Exercising is very important to be healthy especially as we live in a junk food era. Here are five easy workouts that are not only fun but starting off your day with these workouts will crank up your energy levels for the rest of the day.

  • Jumping Joy

Jumping is a great form of exercise. It is not only joyous but also reminds us of our carefree times as kids. It helps in burning a lot of calories. Simple stand in one place and start jumping. Do it continuously for 2-3 minutes. Repeat it twice or thrice. Once you finish, you will notice that all your muscles have worked out and you are pumped up for the day.

  • High Knees

Stand straight with your feet hip-width apart. Look straight ahead with your arms hanging down by your side. Jump from one foot to the other and lift your knees as high as possible at the same time. Your arms should follow the motion and you should touch the ground with the balls of your feet. Do this exercise twice with 15 repetitions at each time. This will energize you and set you for the day.

  • Walking Lunges

Walking lunges are basic lunge with a boost. It is a great and fun workout and workout your glutes, hamstrings, and quads. Stand upright, feet together and take a controlled step forward with your right leg by lowering your hips toward the floor by bending both knees to 90-degree angles. You must ensure that your posture is upright and your front knee is directly above the front foot and not overshooting it.  Do this exercise twice with 15 repetitions at each time.

  • Jumping Squats

This is an incredible rewarding workout. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Start doing a regular squat but instead of returning to the standing position, just jump and then land back in the squatting position. Do this exercise thrice with 12 repetitions at each time. If you aim to have a head-turning booty, then this exercise is your deliverer.

  • Stretching
