No skipping breakfast:
It might be impossible for you to even get a cup of tea in the morning, but do not miss your breakfast, ever. Have oatmeal or cornflakes, but do not prepare your kids for school in an empty stomach.
8 hours sleep a must:
Hit the bed right before 10pm so that you can get up early in the morning. Do not compromise with sleep thinking you are earning more hours to doing the dishes.
Practice healthy eating:
Certainly, the most important part. Do not skip meals. Include protein, vitamin, minerals and fibers in your daily diet as needed.
Have more calcium in plate:
As the experts say, women need more calcium and iron to keep their bones strong. So eat milk, yoghurt, nuts and leafy vegetables regularly to avoid risk of osteoporosis.
Add colour to your plate:
Do you know the colorful fruits or vegetables like bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, eggplant etc are enriched with carotenoids and flavonoids? They are great for your health.
Practice stretching at office:
Just do 5-10 minutes stretches between work and meetings. Do not sit at your desk for hours. Try not to have lunch at your desk either.
Walk after lunch:
Past the lunch, don’t rush back to the desk. Walk up the stairs to café or the down the lane in front of your office for 5 minutes.
Do yoga or hit gym:
Make it a point to practice physical exercise at least 5 days a week. Either yoga at home or running the treadmill at gym.
Drink water, a lot:
As much as you can. Minimum 2 to 2.5 litres a day is a must. Move up slowly with the liters and soon it will be your habit.
10. Don’t ignore your back pain:
Yes, another crucial point for women as at some point of life, you will suffer from the excruciating back ache. Avoid high heels and heavyweight carry bags or laptop bags. Sit straight as much and as long as possible.
