How to treat Sun Tan naturally?


Quite a number of pale skinned beauties love a tanned skin whereas, many of us dread the thought of it. Sun Tan is caused as a result of exposure to the sun’s rays.   • Lemon juice, rose water and cucumber

This can effectively cure the tan with religious use. Lemon juice rich in Vitamin C and cucumber with its cooling properties also act as bleaching agents. Keep it for 10 minutes and then wash off. Make sure you do not expose your skin to the sun with the pack on. After you wash this off, follow up with a Sunscreen with a minimum of 20 SPF.

  • Turmeric, Yogurt and Besan (Gram Flour)

Turmeric has been widely used in Ayurvedic practices. It is an essential part of many rituals in Indian households. It works effectively on pigmentation and adds a natural glow. Yogurt is also a bleaching agent with moisturising properties. Gram Flour takes off dead skin cells and leaves softer skin. Mix these equally and leave it for 20 minutes. After the pack dries, wet your face with a few drops of water and scrub it off.

  • Tomato, Yogurt and Honey

This pack not just relieves skin tan but also improves complexion. Tomato has bleaching properties and works wonders on oily skin and helps shrink pore size. Honey and Yogurt have moisturising and nourishing properties. Mix equal parts and leave the pack for 30 minutes.

  • Raw Potatoes have excellent effects on tanned skin.

Along with soothing the skin, it also has a great results in lightening tan. Cut them and make a paste. Apply on the affected area for about 30 minutes.
