Has anyone ever told you that you are way too nice for your own good? Well, if not then that doesn’t mean you are a person tainted by evil. Just that you don’t flaunt the goodness in you much. But what is a universal truth (well not exactly, but for dramatic effect) is that we all have that angel on one of our shoulders whose goodness ruins us. You might have more than one of those. However, each one of us shares a common trait with all those born of the same zodiac as ours. So, what makes you way too nice for your own good?
Aries
(March 21st – April 19th)
Everyone sees you as an irrational, selfish and high headed human being. The truth is completely opposite to this zodiac. Your fierce loyalty towards everyone who comes into your life can sometimes ruin life for you. One of the best examples of this comes from your inability to detach yourself from people. Once someone enters your life, you automatically sign a contract of being by their side until the end of time. This contract, unilaterally signed, renders you unable to cut them out. The guilt of hurting someone’s feeling by secluding them is too much for you to bear. After all, you do hate goodbyes.
Taurus
(April 20th – May 20th)
Taureans are the most peaceful of all zodiac signs. Very rarely, and I mean once in a blue moon type rare, will you see some born of this zodiac get angry. God save you when you do though. This is so because they hate confrontation. They don’t like the idea of getting into an argument of any sort which will end up hurting one party or the other. Thus, they put up with whatever is sent their way and as you might have guessed, people misuse this about them. So, you’ll always see a typical Taurean being pushed around by some dominating sign. Only till the last nail in the coffin though. After that, you’ll see that dominating zodiac running for their life.
Gemini
(May 21st – June 20th)
You might not believe this, but Geminis are actually pretty self-sacrificing. Whether this is because of their indecisiveness or genuine care for others, depends on the person under consideration. But you will never see anyone born of this zodiac making the final decision. Whether it is the place that the group should hang out at or the restaurant they should have dinner at, Gemini will never be the one to make the final call. Even if it means going against their wishes, they will always let someone else decide. Ultimately, sacrificing their personal interests.
Cancer
(June 21st – July 22nd)
One of the most loving signs of all the zodiacs is Cancer. That in itself is their biggest fault. They never shy away from helping people. Even if you don’t ask for their help, they need only sense your trouble to rush to your aid. All of this sounds good. The problem is that they get nothing in return for all that. Some people of principle might remember their favors and try to return it with the same vigor. But how many people are there who think like that? Not many. Add to that the fact that the people of this zodiac don’t wait to consider who it is that they are helping. They just go out and help.
Leo
(July 23rd – August 22nd)
The king does not rest. After all, the fate of the realm rests on his shoulders. So, the typical Leo will go on taking everyone’s requests, with no consideration of their own abilities. Not to mean that they can’t do what they promise to, but that they already have way too much that needs to be done. The people born of this zodiac cannot say No to someone who comes seeking their help. Thus, they keep piling on their platter till it trips. And then some more. This not only affects their personal goals and routines but their mental health as well.
Virgo
(August 23rd – September 22nd)
Virgos believe in second chances. And third chances. And fourth chances. And chances that can be handed out till they die. That is where they face their biggest self-inflicted misery. No matter how severe someone’s deeds have been in the past, they accept whatever apology they come up with. Not that this process ends with just a single chance. They keep repeating this process over and over again. The vicious circle of misery keeps biting them again and again. Yet, they cannot bring themselves to stop forgiving even those who are obviously beyond repair.
Libra
(September 23rd– October 22nd)
It’s good to be kind, but then again, you can extend that kindness to yourself as well. In another blog, I have mentioned how people born of this zodiac fail to love themselves. This, in turn, makes them very apologetic. Even when they aren’t the ones in the wrong, they apologize. Not that it’s wrong to end matters with an apology. Many times, it makes the other person ashamed of themselves and eventually realizes their mistake. Most of the times people use it as a shield to protect themselves, while the Libran wrong takes the heat.
Scorpio
(October 23rd – November 21st)
The scorpions are very open-handed. They don’t think twice before giving away their things to those in need. Whether it is a beggar on the street or their friend who needs a place to stay. You ask for it and the people of this zodiac will provide. Where does that leave them though? Nowhere. It’s nice to be helpful. But what good does that do when you are left with nothing for yourself. Chances are, no one else is going to share their platter with you when you need it. Ultimately, the people of this zodiac are left bitter and ready to sting, in their time of need.
Sagittarius
(November 22nd – December 21st)
You would think that a free-spirit will have no problem with letting their emotions flow. You couldn’t be more wrong. Especially when the free-spirit in question was born under the zodiac of Sagittarius. They bottle up all their negative emotions. In an attempt to not spoil the positive energy around them they always keep their anger and frustration and jealousy and hatred inside them. Faking smiles and laughs. Until the time comes when they can’t take it anymore. However, when they burst, they are left alone to deal with the damage.
Capricorn
(December 22nd – January 19th)
Now, these are the people who don’t care whether you get hurt or not. As long as the Capricorn is in a good place, they will be nice. The moment you push them around, they’ll stand up for themselves. People born under this zodiac are all about justice. Who is to say that the same justice cannot be applied to themselves? So, no, there is nothing like too nice for your own good kind of a deal with these people. treat them fairly, and they’ll be at the best of their behavior. Mess with the goat, and you’ll get the horns and the hoofs.
Aquarius
(January 20th – February 18th)
Aquarians are creatures who have been sent to this planet from some other world. But they need to fit in now that they are here. So, in order to avoid letting people down, they will agree to things that they have no interest in. Well, I think I gave them a very harsh introduction. The thing is that the people of this zodiac don’t like letting people down. As it is their eccentricities trouble many of the most important people in their life. The last thing they want is to add to the burden by overlooking things they can control. So, to make people in their life happy, they will sign up for things that they have zero interest in.
Pisces
(February 19th – March 20th)
A lie told with a good intention, doesn’t count as a sin. Right? Wrong. Especially if you are a Pisces. The people of this zodiac are all about wisdom and wise counsel. So, to make them lie goes against their natural tendencies. But they do. These are not lies made to save themselves but to protect someone else’s emotions. They’ll call a hideous dress, pretty. An ugly haircut, trendy. And approve of most anything they feel completely repulsed by, just to save the receiver from emotional trauma. Where does that leave them? Unable to express their own opinions, ever.
