Want to wear sleeveless blouses or tops? What’s restraining you? Oh! The darkness of armpits. Underarms being the most ignored part of human body needs special care. As you do for your facial to whole body skin, you must get rid of dead skin cells from armpits. Hair removal, poor moisturizing, exposure to certain elements as you shave/wax or excessive use of antiperspirants etc are key reasons leading to darken skin under your arms.

Follow the remedial tips below and get fairer armpits to enjoy wearing topless outfits.

Brown Sugar:

Armpits usually get darken because of the dead skin cells that’s you are not removing well in time. Just like you do with your facial skin, exfoliation is equally important for your underarms. In fact, armpits needs to be exfoliated more often.

Take a cup of brown sugar and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil (extra-virgin) to it. Mix the ingredients and then apply to wet underarms skin for a minute or two and then rinse. The best way is to use it as you take shower. For optimal results, you can use it twice a week.

Egg oil:

Egg Oil is quite recent entrant in the list of natural oils. Extracted from egg yolks, this oil easily absorbs into the skin and helps to heal dry and damaged skin.

To lighten the underarms, apply egg oil and massage gently for few minutes. Leave it overnight and then rinse in the morning with pH balanced body wash or soap.

Several studies confirmed that cholesterol is essential ingredient for healthy skin. In addition, egg oil contains Omega 3 along with Omega 6 and both aid in producing new skin cells and maintaining cells normal growth. Production of new skin cells leads to smooth and bright skin.

Saffron:

Kanikka Tandon is India’s leading makeup expert and according to her, saffron is the best way to whiten the underarms. Apart from possessing a lot many beauty benefits, saffron also contains natural skin lightening qualities.

Mix a pinch of saffron in mild lotion (2 tablespoons) and apply it to your armpits. Be regular and within two weeks you will be amazed of the results.

I preferably use Vaseline Healthy White lotion because of its active whitening system that’s clinically proven for naturally lighter and radiant skin. This recipe not only whitens but also helps me to offload armpits odor.

Vinegar:

Now that’s the super way for germ-free lighter skin under your arms.

Take rice flour and add vinegar to make a paste (adjust the quantity accordingly). After taking hot shower, apply this paste to your armpits and leave for 10-15 minutes. Do not scrub. As it dries, rinse with warm water. For better results, follow the recipe twice a week.

Milk:

Remember, dark appearance of underarms needs you to do proper cleansing as you opt for your skin in the morning or before going to bed. Milk is a great cleanser and moisturizer as well. The fatty acids and vitamins in milk help making our skins bright and healthy. Massage your underarms with milk, for 10-15minutes daily.
