It is now an established fact that breastfeeding is the best way to feed a newborn at least for the first 6 months. It is being emphasized by different campaigning that not only breastfeeding is the best way for mothering an infant’s food requirement, also child care specialists and World Health Organization is considering the habit of breastfeeding as one of the simple, cost efficient, and organic process of achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), exclusively for“Achieving Zero Hunger and Refining Health and Well-Being at All Ages”.

Fortunately breastfeeding in India is being counted as one of the best and most accepted ways for kids’feedstuff since a long time. The country being 6th largest community in terms of world population, has a major role to play in supporting mothers and the next progeny to be healthy, nourished, well developed as well as to strengthen the global mission of SDG by promoting breastfeeding and its importance for kid, mother, and society.
